White Sands Resort Phan Thiet

This is a small - 25 room resort set in luxurious tropical gardens...the surrounding areas are undeveloped giving a greater sense of an escape from the world. this is a popular resort with Saigon expats who want to escape the city and hear nothing but birds and the ocean which is just meters from the sea view rooms.the main muine strip is a short taxi ride from the resort and the most common remark from guests is how nice it is to be able to retreat back to white sands after the noise and crowds -- back to ones own private retreat.there are only 5 resorts in the bay on which white sands is located with substantial areas of vacant, palm filled land. so whilst the increasingly overcrowded and developed mui ne beach is difficult to stroll down because of high tides and kite surfers launching kites, its a blessing to be able to walk along a kite free and uncrowded beach-- with the exception of the occasional cows ! ... [+] More!!! the kitchen staff have been trained for two years by one of the first graduates from the famous ha noi training centre " koto " which was started nearly ten years ago by an Australian jimmy Phan, who saw the need for training of street kids..koto has since become an institution in Hanoi, having graduates placed in all the major hotels, and having the likes of visitsyng dignitaries, including Bill Clinton visit. needless to say you wont be disappointed with the food. sleep, eat, read and relax if its a total unwind your looking for this is the place...if you are planning to start your Vietnam holiday in Mui ne before exploring the country you can always seek out the advice of the manager of white sands , Glenn, who has lived in Vietnam for 11 years , and who is always willing to offer advice and suggestions to make your time in mui ne and Vietnam a little easier...white sands is rated 3 stars, but its generally agreed that with the little extras like in room tea /coffee facilities, bathrobes and fully equipped gym, with sauna , steam and jacuzzi facilities on top of friendly well trained staff and top notch food, white sadns has an extra star.
