You might considering coming from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne by Taxi, instead of open buses, because the departure time suits better your schedule. The ride by taxi takes 4 to 5 hours, depending of the road condition.

By train
A train runs daily from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet City, departing around 6:30am and arriving 5 hours later. The return trip leaves Phan Thiet around 1:30pm. The railway station in Phan Thiet City is about 20 km from the beginning of the Mui Ne resort strip, and taxis are abundant to take you there.
