Nha Trang is a popular and bustling seaside resort area surrounded by green hills. It’s a great place to come to the beach, with a dry season that runs from January until August. If you are here for a short time then you can fly to Cam Ranh Airport, only 30 kilometres from the town, or take the train from Ho Chi Minh, which takes around 6 hours, although the train station is walking distance from most hotels and sights. Although Na Trang boasts some excellent beaches, if you are unfortunate to experience a rainy day then are plenty of quirky museums in town such as the National Oceanographic Museum, Alexandre Yersin Museum and Nha Trang Cathedral.
