The Hoi An Beach Resort Management and Team would like to express our warmest greetings and sincere thanks for your continuous support to us so far.
In our strive to upgrade our facilities and to serve our customers better, we herewith would like to inform that we will be conducting the necessary renovation at our resort from 01Aug to 31Aug 2011 with the following plan:
- Phase 1- From 01st Aug to 21st Aug 2011 (07:00 am to 05:00 pm):
+ Replacing the tile roofs of 15 River View Deluxe
+ Renovating the offices in front of the hotel (near the staff gate)
- Phase 2- From 21st Aug to 31st Aug 2011 (08:00 am to 05:00 pm):
Replacing the tile roofs of 08 Seaside View Villa near the reception
There will be no major structural changes or heavy works. ... [+] More The resort management will endeavor to keep any noise or disturbances of guests to a minimum during that time by arranging guest�s room far away from the renovation area.

Hoi An Beach Resort is a four-star resort situated between the romantic De Vong river and famous Cua Dai Beach. It consists of 122 luxurious old Vietnamese-style houses and villa rooms. It is recognised by travellers worldwide as "an oasis of peace where the river meets the ocean". It is just four kilometres from the historic town of Hoi An. 35 km (a 45 minute drive) from Danang International Airport and railway station.
In its day the principal trading port for the whole of central Vietnam, Hoi An has long been proud of its reputation for gracious hospitality. Weare dedicated to continuing this tradition today in our new and luxurious beach resort. There is so much to see in the area - historic Hoi An town, the My Son temple complex, the Cham Museum in Danang and, just over the pass, the former royal capital of Hue - that you could easily stay an extra day.

the hotel is decent, very close to the beach, though service can be improved. we arrived around 9pm and I asked if there were restaurants nearby, the reception said no, basically the only choice was to eat at the hotel restaurant. next day i found out there were in fact eataries and a beach club (the only one in town) less than 5 mins walk away!! then when we were checking out, we were presented with a bill in VND, then the cashier charged us in USD with a very bad exchange rate, without even informing us! when i protested against this sneaky behaviour, she give me quite a lot of attitude.
wonderful relaxing atmosphere, with great hard working friendly staff. Lots of inexpensive tours. Had the opportunity to see much of the country around Hoi an as well as the city itself.
Perhaps in the future the Beach resort should consider having entertainment in the evenings. That would be my only recommendation for improval
