Empress hotel was awarded the Best Boutique Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in 1999 Located in the heaty of the city, it is about 15 minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market- the famous market in the city and also near to shopping areas on Dong Khoi street, and the Opera house.
In sharp contrast to the average large, impersonal, international hotel, at the Empress Hotel, small is beautiful. Built in 1996 with just 7 floors and 40 rooms in total.

rooms smaller than expected but very comfortable staff were excellent & very very helpful especially terry & jack who were always on hand to help with anything we needed
This hotel is in a good location very close to city centre tourist attractions. The hotel provides a good city centre base and value for money. We stayed in a junior suite with our son and had two rooms which was ideal as a bed was set up in one room for us and another for our child. The hotel is clean and staff friendly and helpful.
My local girlfriend could only stay with me in the hotel if she booked a room as well. This made it still expensive to stay.
