The hotel is in a good central location in the Old Quarter, but I do not recommend booking an Executive Room however due to them being located at the front of the hotel vertually right above the very noisy street. We stayed 3 nights and as nice as the Executive room was after 1 night of staying awake all night, we requested to be moved to another room and after a lot of resistance by hotel staff, we were then given a very small, but acceptable room on a higher floor located at the back of the hotel, and we happily slept in peace and quiet away from the continuous street noise.
after a 3 hr trip from halong bay we arrived at this hotel who claimed not to have the reservation in their system, tried to fob us off in the crappy hotel next door at the same rate, our friends bumped off too.....altogether crap service...my advice - stay across the road at gia bao grand hotel - cheaper and better!
Everything was fine except we did not got breakfast last morning (we left to airport at 6.30am) even reception promised that evening before when I paid our bill ready
