Empress Hotel Dalat

My only gripe was the inconsistent service provided at the Front Desk. Usually it was great, but twice I was let down. Once, when enquiring about things to do in Dalat, the woman had no idea and failed to provide the tour information sheet that I was given that night by someone else. Second, when I asked about the best way to get to the airport, the front deskattempted to railroad me into taking a taxi at a very inflated rate. He denied that there was any other option, and reacted very bitterly when I informed him that I knew that there was a shuttle bus. I was also later offered a taxi to the airport for half the price while waiting for the shuttle bus.
