Yountville is a small town, which one of wine destinations in Napa Valley, California. Its name derived from the name of early pioneer George Calvert Yount considered responsible for establishing the first vineyard in the Napa Valley. Yountville houses some of the world class business e.g. the Lincoln Theatre-the Napa Valley’s premiere performing arts venue, the Yountville American Viticultural Area is located here. Thomas Keller's French Laundry, widely considered one of the nation’s best fine dining restaurants, is also in Yountville. The Domaine Chandon winery and its restaurant, which is one of the world-class restaurants, the étoile, are located in Yountville, on a hill overlooking the town.
