Las Vegas or Vegas is in the state of Nevada. It has got boon from Hollywoodï¿½s film making, which has been doing free PR for the city, where its downtown was once the hang-out place for the Hoover dam construction siteï¿½s workers, became an internationally known as the world centre of gambling and entertainments. Although gambling and wedding (conducted by a sham Elvis) are the trendiest things to do in Vegas, yet waiting for the volcano erupts in front of the Mirage and finding for free shows are also worthwhile. Driving through I-15 from Southern California offers relaxing ambience, while flying to Vegas is very convenient.
