Guests can experience the other side of eighteenth century life by venturing 'downstairs' to the old servants' hall, kitchen, linen room and wine cellar. The servants' hall and kitchen may also be used as informal meeting rooms.
Ston Easton Park has 22 superbly-appointed bedrooms and can accommodate up to 45 guests. Two principal function rooms are available for hire and these can be used for meetings or as private dining rooms. In addition, other rooms can be provided to meet any individual requirements.
The house is open all year and bookings can be made on either a residential or non-residential basis. If preferred, the house can also be reserved for exclusive use - an arrangement that guarantees privacy and confidentiality.
Our award-winning restaurant has established an enviable reputation for its consistently high standard of cuisine which is based upon fresh quality produce cooked simply but in an imaginative style. Specialities include Goats Cheese cooked in puff pastry with Plum tomatoes and Balsamic vinegar. Roast Rack of English Lamb is cooked with meaux mustard and covered in a crust of fresh garden herbs.
Menus for all occasions can be created by arrangement and vegetarian and low-fat dishes can be prepared if required.
Head chef, Tom Bally, gains high ratings from all the food guides for his classic English cooking, using the finest local produce, including vegetables and herbs from the house's own Victorian kitchen garden.
Drinks are served in all principal rooms, bedrooms and on the terrace. The house cellars have been restocked to include a fine selection of rare wines and old vintages. Including 1970 Ch. Lafite-Rothschild and 1981 Ch. d'Yquem Sauternes, to name but two with our cognacs including the Hine Family Reserve. We also stock a variety of new world and good value table wines, which are highly recommended.
