This hotel is a bit "out of the way" on the island. I highly recommend either a scooter or renting a car. Renting a scooter is far ahead of the car in value. There is very limited parking throughout the island, so it will be a problem for convenience of finding parking spaces.

The overall value of the room is good. There are many flaws the room has which I will go over only the big ones. There are way to may different elevations within the whole villa. There are steps and "lips" between most of the rooms. Believe me that is a bad idea. During the night hitting your toes is a constant reminder of how bad an idea it is. The worst of the bunch is the bed that is on a pedistal that sticks out a half meter into the bedroom. Why would ANYONE design a pedestal that sticks out from the bed. Very, very poor design. I can tell this was drawn on paper and never tested in reality. This was an untested design and in my opinion a very poor drawing that needs revision.

The staff are very nice and very responsive to your requests. We had a problem with the hot water in the shower. I had to call the front desk 4 times before it was finally decided that the heater was not going to be able to fixed permanently. They would come and fix it and for "that day" or that shower it was fine, until the next morning. They wanted to move us to a different villa, but that is not convenient either. Once you have unpacked everything, it is not fun to repack and then unpack again for a hot water heater.

We really did not use any of the facilities or restaurant on the site. There is much, much cheaper food and massages available off property. Again, if you do not have your own transport you are at a serious disadvantage. There is a "truck" that will take you to town where the beach hotel that is a sister property. This is something we did once and only once. Drop off and pick up are about 6 times a day.
Overall the experience was good. I would not stay here again knowing what I know now about other properties on the island but that always happens to me. You can't research "every property" on the island before you get there. Every property has it's positives and negatives. This property negatives were the remote location (over come with own transport) and the poor design of the villa. Everything else was fine overall and not worth complaining about.
