The Rummana Boutique Resort nestle in a beautiful garden at the southern end of Lamai beach where you can relax with a scenic view of a white sandy beach embracing by the emerald sea of the Gulf of Thailand. Soft Opening: 1 January 2006. The Rummana Boutique Resort is at the southern end of Lamai beach. The resort is 18 kms from Samui airport and 17 kms from downtown. We are at the quiet end of the beach so, you can relax with a beautiful view of a white sandy beach kissed by the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand. There is a short walk from the resort into lamai town where there is a good selection of restaurants, bars, discos and various other activities. Great little resort situated on the very end of Lamai next to the grandfather / mother rocks in a wonderful green garden. We had a nice and quiet appartment, but this can differ somewhat. Very friendly staff, great service and a good restaurant made our stay complete.
Nice location, but a lot of fireworks EVERY night made it very hard to sleep, specially if you are travelling with small children.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was not the only person who had trouble with my bill on the way out. They do not give you all the details of items that you buy or spa treatments. The hotel ways there is wireless internet in the room, that is not so. The service in the only restaurant they have was terrible. The overall service was not somthing that a 3 star hotel should have especially for that price. Please if you want to enjoy your stay in Lamai stay somewhere else.
