Our 1st time to Koh Samui. We found the hotel excellent, the staff were very attentive nothing was a problem for them. We will be using this hotel again in the future and would recommend it to friends and family.
The hotel itself is good located and nice. Rooms, food are 5 x quality, but the service of thai employees is very poor. They English is very weak, it coases many problem with comunication. Breakfast was good and colourful. There are only 75 rooms in the resort so it is more like a small hotel, which we appreciated very much. The rooms are well equiped, good sized and comfortable. We spent 8 nights there, cleaning of the room was every day, but honestly speaking I was not sattisfied with it. E.g.: cleaning lady never washed up the room and never vacuum cleaned. Room was full of dust! I think it it unacceptable in Meridien. After all I would say that the hotel itself is brilliant, nice, high quality, but the service is not reaching the 5x standard. Which I belive is everywhere like this in Thailand.
