This is a quiet adult retreat away from it all. The hotel was Thai beautiful, the grounds landscaped with water and bridges - not good for small children! The rooms very modern elegant and well equipped. Teak and marble abound and simple fresh floral decorations were everywhere.. There were 2 excellent restaurants on site as well as a good breakfast buffet restaurant. The staff were always polite and helpful. Our main reservation about the resort was the beach - it was not well tended, stoney in places and had considerable debris washed in from the sea. We felt that the numerous beach staff should have been directed on a daily basis to remove the plastic bottles, bags etc. and to rake over the small area of sand in front of the resort. Thailand is after all famous for its beautiful beaches!
