Shasa is great value I have to say. The room is very very spacious and the seaview is stunning. We stayed in the deluxe 1 bedroom suite with very high privacy. My girlfriend tried the SPA and it was good. Though the hotel did not have many facilities due to its size, I think they have well trained staff who are helpful and friendly. However, if you do not drive, you may consider other hotels in Chaweng and Lamai. I rented a car and it took me about 20 minutes to go from Shasa to Lamai Tesco and another 15 minutes from Lamai to Chaweng considering that there are usually lots of cars on the road, those cars are very slow and all roads have only 1 lane.
Simply a stunning and gorgeous hotel. The rooms could be a model home, the staff are great, beautiful infinity pools and the original cocktail list at the bar is the best I have ever seen (former bartender).
This is a paradise location and hotel. We were so happy to have found it. Memories of the views of the sea from the hotel room and the lovely long swimming in the pools are still on our minds.
