Pariya Resort & Villas Koh Pha-Ngan

Breakfast was a joke, just some coffee, 3 kind of fresh fruit and 2 juices(not fresh pressed), bathroom of my room every night was visited by bats(who had their toilet in this room), not enough towels at the pool ....etc. forget it.....

We were not pleased to stay in the Centara Pariya. It began with carrying our luggage ourselves out of the longtailboat, over the beach into the lobby, a hard job with 50 kilos of luggage for 2 persons. We were surprised that there was no warm water available, nobody told us that before. The breakfast was very poor! Although there were croissants available, the waitress refused to get them out of the kitchen!! It seemed to be a nice resort, but running on way too many staff in our period! if you needed someone, you really had a hard job finding some staff somewhere! The location of the resort was very nice, but anywhere is mentioned that you are obligated to take a longtailboat to reach the hotel. There isnt any other way to get there. They promise you that the taxiboats are available 24/7, but we have been waiting for 2 hours to get back to the resort at 11 pm, because the only available taxi-boat wanted to charge us 5 times the common price!!!! In the end we had to pay him that price because it was our only way to get back! We were very dissapointed in this resort. We booked 8 resorts for our trip through Thailand, and this was by far the poorest!! Maybe because of the period we were travelling, but you should be able to take good care of your clients at all time. So please make sure that your resort is ok, even in the rainy season! And please make sure that websites have the correct information (no warm water available, unreachable without longtailboat)

Generally this hotel is built as a four star but delivered as a 2/3 star with limited service, dirty facilities and the worst breakfast one could imagine. There is also no beach service/pool service for cocktail. Basically you have to do it yourself or tell the staff how too once you get their attention. Staff are also not in standard uniform and resort is noisy from generator running all night and day.
