Location is ideal if you want a very short ride from the airport. Staff are very lovely, always willing to help. The only negative to me was the incline on which the hotel is situated...this is not ideal if you have been relaxing pool or beachside, or after a night out, to have to walk up a sharp incline to get to your room.
Bhundari Spa resort and Villas was a clean nice hotel, with a great view. The rooms were clean and nice. Smaller than what we had experienced previously. The reception staff were very helpful and were able to assist with any query we had. The only negative experience was at the hotel restaurant (in the main block). The restaurant staff were aloof, gave poor service, seemed to not enjoy their jobs which showed in their attentiveness, and one meal that we had for lunch was served cold! I asked for a chicken wonton soup, which by the time it arrived at the table was less than luke warm. We ate at the restaurant for a few meals and the service did not improve. The pool bar on contrast was fantastic for drinks - we did not eat there though.
The overall service was less than we recieved at other 5 star hotel resorts.
The location is too far away from Chaweng beach for us, and the services was not that great, which would mean that we would not stay there again. If you want to just stay in the hotel, visit a spa, sit by the pool or on the beach, not travel to the main beach then this resort may be a good option.
