We were very pleasantly surprised with our room, the facilities available and the position of Lawana. The quality of service we received was certainly more in line with 4+star. Situated right on the beach and within walking distance to Fishermans Village, restaurants and the main road made our stay very convenient. The friendly, helpful staff I will not forget and we recommend Lawana to anybody else travelling to Koh Samui for the first time very highly.
You certainly get what you pay for. We booked a twin room and when arriving at the room they gave us a double. When i queried the booking they said they didnt have any rooms available. So straight away the booking was wrong which they didnt try and rectify, and just offered excuses. We straight away decided to leave and within the first 10mins we were looking for alternative accomodation. It may be cheap but there is a reason.
Great pool, nice rooms and bungalows paying a premium rate if you want to be nearer pool but that is the case everywhere. 10 minute walk to fishermans village where there are nice restaurants and bars.
