Como Resort

samui is supposed to have 5cm of rain over a 4 day period in the month of march. unfortunately in 5 of my 9 days on samui the island had 1.25 mts of rain. deang, who was my host was sooo wonderful, the island had no power due to the weather, yet deang had everything gas powered. the food that she cooked was amazing, so fresh and so flavoursome, i still had ice cold beer, (im australian and i like my beer cold!), there was nothing to do on the island yet my experinence was that i will return to samui and will stay at como beach resort very hapilly.

We recieved a warm welcome and a choice of rooms on arrival. when they say on the beach, they mean on the beach, we were literally 20 m from the ocean edge and could enjoy a swim each morning before breakfast. The staff were warm and freindly and we managed to communicate well. Food when we ate at the hotel was OK. This would be a great place for people with children and is not too far from all of the action if you want to walk into town. Lastly we left some items behind which were sent on to us at our next destination in Thailand.

Perfect location, right at the beach, with swimming pool, beautiful view, great beach without trash or too much stones, quiet, nice and friendly owner and owners wife, with good suggestions to do on the island, everyday roomcleaning with clean towels, good breakfast and so on.
