Rate and location Excellent, I have stayed at the two adjoining properties on previous occasions so felt I should give this hotel a shot since the price was right. Hotel was once clearly a top property but is now in need of some TLC; during a downpour, rain was leaking into the lounge area and it was only after a manager saw it that any of the staff took a mop and cleaned it up. Room was upgraded to one with a private plunge pool; it was raining so I didn't get in this stay. One negative for me was a large of free power outlets at the desk for a lap top and mobile which are m constant companions.
The hotel is well located but a bit tired. The restaurant is very good with a varied menu. Complimentary drinks and snacks on Friday nights is a nice touch and a way to meet other guests.Check for deals as rates vary a lot.
These guys really saved us. We had left our passports in the safe and my wife left our camera in the lobby as we rushed out to catch our boat to Railay. Not only did they arrange to deliver everthing to us the next day, the called the resort we were staying to let us know we had forgotten everything! It all got returned to us with none of our money missing. Thank you Manathai resort!
