Hotel is a solid structure.Overall good condition. Rooms 301,302,303 large,spacious and re-vamped.great decor, etc.Can do with a little more updating, e.g. floor tiles on stairs.Staff serving in restaurant needs more training:service & English.
Benyada Lodge was the perfect place for us to stay during our trip to Phuket. So good, in fact, that we extended our reservation and stayed at the Benyada Lodge for our entire Thailand trip.
The location was exactly what we were hoping for. It's a block from Surin Beach (low-key beach north of Patong & Kamala Beach), and it's a block from the high traffic main road. Our room was large, decorated nicely, very clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. The floor was tiled in adobe tiles, which was important considering the amount of sand we traipsed into the room. Our room didn't have an interesting view, though the Lodge does offer rooms with a view, instead we spent many evenings down at the open-air lobby restaurant watching the world pass by on the street.
The reservation included breakfast, and they offered American, Continental and Thai breakfast options. Food was delicious.
The staff at both the restaurant and the front-desk were extremely attentive and helpful.
We could not have asked for a better experience.
