My husband and I stayed at Evason in 2004 and we were really awed by it then. We were with our young children this time. The upholstery, towels and bedding could use with a change as they look really worn. The bathrooms too could use with upgrades (shower heads, plumbing etc). We have observed staff painting walls and filling potholes so I believe the management is making efforts on maintaining the property. Otherwise the unique and original charm can still be found. I do miss the little details Evason use to pay attention to (i.e., carved motifs on the bathroom floor, beach basket, toiletries & firm pillows).
The breakfast spread was simple but good (but for Muslims, limited choices). The room service food was a let down but the F&B manager was quick to apologise and offered to replace. The hotel did not charge us the meal.
Overall it was an enjoyable stay and the kids had a blast in Bon Island (the private hut at THB80/day came with drinks and fruit as well as a shower was great for a family to have) and riding in trams/buggy is always fun (although the snorkeling was disappointing for me as the corals have died since the last time)

Thank you for this survey, and I would like to add some comments since I stayed in this brand hotel 2 times;
1. The adult movies that they have are not free and suppose some of them free.
2. The services of the hotel are too expensive comparing to other 5 stars hotels.
