Great value for money in a fine location. Patong Bay Garden Resort is one of the very few hotels in Patong that are right on the beach. With a swimming pool, coffee shop, restaurant, room service and more you need never leave the resort - but if you do, all the exciting nightlife and dining options of Patong are just steps away. Each of the 71 rooms of Patong Bay Garden have air conditioning, a telephone line, a mini-bar and fridge, TV and security safe, and about half have private balconies.

Have stayed here previously numerous times since after the 2004 tsunami when hotel was redone. I like the location, it is one of the most convenient for being at the beach and near Bangla Road in Patong. In recent years there have been upgrades to the beachfront restaurant and bar area that have been positive. Parking is now across the road in a larger lot and the former parking in front now accomodate a VW Bar Bus. The only negative I saw at this time is that it appears that hotel is selling timeshares or something along those lines as a vacation club; this in my opinion will have a negative impact on those like myself that enjoyed the "Boutique" hotel feel about the place.
Was a great hotel. However, there was a band playing nightly outside. So if you wanted a good nights rest and your room was nearby where they were playing, you would probably have to wait till about 1am. Other than that, it was all good.
After reading some not very good reviews prior to our stay I was pleasantly surprised by the excellant room and very friendly efficient service. As referred in previous reviews the location right on the beach was fantastic but also the main restaurant was similarly located and served wonderful fresh seafood daily - and excellant stay all round and thoroughly recommend and stay there again myself
