Good location for Patong Beach and Bangla road, walking is approx 15 minutes. The hotel provides a shuttle servise 4 times a day if you don't fancy the walk (which can be very hot).
The pool bar was not manned when we were there (12 March to 30 March).
The balcony was not much use as it looked straight into the hotel next door (distance 3 metres), plus the AC unit meant it was noisey.
The walls are a little this so you can hear next door having a shower (very noisey), also the AC in the room was a bit noisey, although not enough to stop you sleeping.
Finally, the shower facility in the bathroom caused it to flood the floor every time it was used (again not a major problem, just a strange design)

This hotel is at a great location, close to the shopping mall where the night life comes alive and also close to the beach with all the markets. Staff are super friendly and helpful; and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Rooms are fairly large and spacious.

Citrus Height is clean and modern. Breakfast options limited, swimming pool area very sparse lacks atmosphere bare and concrete, no bar facilities. Elevator is very slow. Location is away from the main shopping and beach areas which necessiated hiring a cab or tut tut to take you out unless you waited for hotel bus which is only a few times a day.

Next time I would rather pay extra to be on beach front and have the lushness of palm trees and tropical setting with full bar and restaurant facilities.

But it is a good cheap option, we had a 2 brm apartment, it had 3 TV and the decor was modern and comfortable.
