Opened in 2008 Chang Residence is a chanrming warm place to stay which combined Thai and Modern design. Located in the back of Patong city centre, where you will feel ralax like a home, induge yourself with spa facilities, jacuzzi and steam room and be lazzing by the pool. Chang Residence restaurant served delicious Thai dishes and nice cool drinks at lobby bar.

do not recommend this hotel, they cant speak english. the staff are in a grumpy mood allt the time, they didnt know how to use the computer to find our reservation. all in all...crappy hotel!!!
the hotel was above my expectation regarding the room and cleaniness.
BUT my toilet blocked easy which smelling my waste a few times for a while. The last day the toilet blocked completely and stank the place out. The woman receptionist wasnt keen to book me a mini bus to airport and told me to get a taxi. so i went to town to get one for hotel pick up. Worse part is the location of hotel is not where the ma says. It is actually 20 mins walk extra to the south away from the town and up a windy hill. that was the biggest thing to this trip as tuk tuk costs and walks didnt help at all. The internet use in lobby is now free but doesnt always work. other staff was friendly. pool is small which i didnt use at all. did massage a few times as the walking was too much for me and tuktuk negotiations are frustrating especially at night. pay more if you took a girl or talk hard to get back. about 200 if you are tough or extra 100 per person. they dont help you with your bags. just show you the room and leave.

Great hotel the staff were very freindly rooms were very clean. I will stay there again
