Aspery hotel is a nice hotel at good location. Beach is just a 5 mins walk. Breakfast is awesome, my wife and me love their breakfast. Most importantly, wifi is free and they have few computer located at the lobby for free usage too.
Its was an amazing experience staying at the Aspery Hotel..eventhough its just for one night..ive booked 2 junior suite but they gave us a family room instead and it was a very2 huge room almost like a house which got 13 beds in the room..the condition was excellent and we was surprised to be given to stay in that room...it was actually the room for the owner of the Aspery Hotel but since she moved to a new room, so they make it available for family room..if any of you would like to booked the family room, you can just contact the hotel..because they will be renovating the room during the low season..so do contact them first..other than that, the breakfast was splendid and the staff was very friendly and they can speak English very well..its easier to communicate with them..the swimming pool on the rooftop was okay..the location of the hotel was a little bit far from the main Patong town but you still can reach there by walking..its just a few minutes walking distance..overall, i highly recommend this hotel because its good for value and its quite peaceful staying there..
Pluses: Location and Breakfast spread
Negatives: Poor customer orientation - especially the front office folks, 'joiner fee' of 500 Baht !?!?! - totally unreasonable, shower head's never worked - in spite of reminders, etc, etc
All in all - I would never go back to this hotel. There are many other hotels at the same price which offers better Value for Money
