Good value standard accommodation right in the heart of the lively shopping and entertainment area of Patong. Aloha Villa offers airconditioning, satellite TV, a fridge and colourfully decorated rooms. Just a 10-minute walk from the beach. An excellent food court serving Thai and seafood specialities, a lively gay area and convenience stores are all close by.

This was a budget holiday for us and Aloha is a bit of a budget hotel but it was clean and friendly. I'd read about it on forums and comments had been made that they weren't friendly but I think they get some very cranky tourists staying there and if you are nice to them they give you that huge Thailand smile and treat you beautifully! Our room was very basic and somewhat tired but it was clean and the room attendant was fantastic. The air con worked incredibly well (vital in Thailand) but I missed not having tean and coffee in our room.
Very basic rooms. No hot water piped to rooms, just a local water heater for the shower (worked OK). No shampoo provided in rooms. BED WAS ROCK HARD (I barely slept). No clock or alarm clock in room. Breakfast buffet selection was small, but food was of decent quality. Most of staff members were helpful and polite, a couple were not so polite. Great location (Bangla and Rat-U-Thit). Reasonable price, but may vary greatly depending on where you book.
Hotel staff cannot understand english language.
