Kantary Bay Hotel is a charming beachfront hotel within a short 10-15 minute drive from Phuket town. It is a hotel with a difference - every room is a suite, each featuring a living area with a comfortable sofa and a dining table, a small but complete pantry and a balcony.

We had a wonderful experience at Kantary Bay. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They really showed an interest in making our experience as wonderful as possible. On one of our days there, the staff overheard my wife and I talking about wanting to go into Phuket town. They actually held up the bus, and called our room to make sure we made the bus. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Cape Panwa beach is very picturesque, quiet, and private, but the beach itself was quite rocky and not so great for swimming. The whole Cape Panwa area is quite a hike from Phuket town and the rest of the island, so that should be considered. If you are looking for friendly, courteous staff, nice facilities, a beautiful and private beach, and a somewhat secluded area, than Kantary Bay is a great choice.
