Very strange stuff, very dirty every where, very noisy all night every night, pool was allways occupied from noty people.
we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the sight on the sea
- The villa (poolside villa)was "advertised" on latestays.com with kitchen. There was no kitchen at all. A table, chairs, a fridge, a microwaveand cabinets. What about a sink and a stove, as tiny shall it be ? What's the point of having a kitchen as there is no supermarket on the island. We paid for a kitchen we never got.
- Decoration of the villa: very disappointing. For the price we paid, we were expecting a local Thai decoration with lots of crafts, artscraft, exotic atmosphere. very disappointing again: the living-room and kitchen were those of a standard flat from any developed country in the world, bold and cold.
- We experienced many water cuts or hot-water problems and ended up never using the Jacuzzi which we also paid for
- We had a serious leak in the en-suite bathroom which was condemned for 3 days
- The staff would not wash the dirty dishes left in the "kitchen" after 3 days. Ants were started to settle ... I had to explicitly ask for the dishes to be washed to get service.
- Staff would not wash the hand marks on the windows
- Lack of intimate lighting in the bedroom. Only bold bright lights were available. Same remark for the living-room
- No long chairs on our deck. That was not welcoming at all ! And no cushion but a hot plastified mat on the outdoors "couch" bathed by the hot sun: that was not comfortable and not welcoming at all either
- No hand soap in the bathroom
- the garden was advertised as a lush tropical garden. It was not. Some cheesy fake flamingos had been displayed in the garden ...
- Dirty garden and dirty beach where the staff leave their rubbish
- most of the staff does not communicate in English and many of them are not welcoming
