Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach

great hotel, one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, everything is done to provide a peaceful atmosphere, from the facilities, the lounge music to all the professional who take care of you and contribute to your wellness. The beach near by is also wonderful and peacefull, a piece of paradise !

The hotel is nice and new. However, we felt that they were a little understaff. My previous experiences staying in other resorts in Phuket was that there was a sense of personal touch which we did not feel here ( except for one of the buggy drivers, who always made it a point to ask us if we had rested well and eaten etc) . In other resorts for example, they would have their manager or a coordinator that was assigned to take care of your needs and check up on you when you came for breakfast or when you were around the reception area or pool. Of course, too much intrusion would have been an irritation but to feel like you were just one of the many checking in and out just like any big city hotel was a big loss to this beach resort compared to older ones in Phuket. The software was indeed a little lacking in most of the other staff.

Ultimately, this responsibility lies with the top personnel as they set the tone for rest of the staff and proper training would definitely give an edge to this resort and set them apart from the others like Banyan Tree does. It would have been a much better experience otherwise. The breakfast spread was of good quality. The seafood buffet held on Friday was really fresh and of a high standard.

Location wise, good for those who don't really want to go anywhere and just enjoy the resort. If you wish to do more exploring, rent a car that you can pick up at the airport and return it there too. Bring your GPS or download an offline map to your iPad ( you can use the free GPS on your iPad but remember to turn off auto-roam) as the road signs are sometimes blocked with overgrown vegetation. .
