Andaman White Beach Resort Phuket

Amazing time in Andaman White Beach.. Despite torrential rain!! Service was excellent, especially taxis to nearby Nai Thon beach. Restaurants and bars were also great (although didn't try the pizza bar.. A little unnecessary when food at nearby Nai Thon is cheap and delicious!!)

It is a beautiful resort at a beautiful beach with no other hotels. Even when fully booked the hotel feels calm and relaxed. No crowds and no noise disturbe your holidays. Nice view from the rooms that all look to the ocean front.

I was overall happy with this location because it was well away from the tourist areas located around the southern beaches. The Naithon beach area is very quiet and provides a nice relaxing area to escape the world. The hotel beach is completely peaceful. There were a couple of roaches hanging out in the bathroom, which some people might find as a cause for concern, but I didn't particularly care. The hotel was very accommodating of any requests and assisted me in setting up a couple of personal activities around the island. My only big issue was the lack of english speaking capabilities of some of the staff. Drink and food requests were often confused or totally misunderstood. I ended up just picking up some alcohol in town to drink it in my room and often ate out in town. Saved a lot of money and resulted in the same amount of fun. Finally, if you request a cab from the hotel to Phuket town, you'll pay about 900 baht for the 30 minute ride. Interestingly, I hired a cab driver for an 8 hour period to drive around the entire island and stop at all locations for only 2000 baht. The hotel grossly overcharges you for short cab rides. I'd suggest people who stay here and want to explore the island figure out their own method for acquiring cabs.
