Kata Palm Resort & Spa

Hotel really needs some renovation and cleanup. I was disappointed, I should have paid a little bit more to get a better hotel.

Geen 4-sterren hotel maar 3-sterren volgens onze mening. 1x schoon beddengoed in 10 dagen vinden we te weinig voor 4-sterren, er zaten ook nog gaten in de dekbedhoes. Parasols bij zwembad bijna allemaal kapot of niet meer verstelbaar, de trolleys waar deze parasols in stonden waren door verroeste wielen amper nog in beweging te krijgen.

I find this hotel getting very expensive as compared to other hotels in Phuket. I had to pay extra for my child staying. However I like the swimming pool and the landscape ,there is even a pond with fishes outside the hotel room on the ground floor which my child enjoyed very much. The breakfast is very simple and for the amount of money we paid I find it quite lousy .Compared to Kata center which I stayed in before I came to Kata Palm the hotel room is very small . A good side to this hotel is that there are many shops around and the swimming pool is huge we even discovered that they had built another swimming pool which we can use without paying.The steam room and massage is not free and also quite expensive .The hotel provides free deckchairs at the beach on a first come first serve basis they also have free shuttle bus at certain times of the day to the beach .Overall my family enjoyed our stay at Kata Palm but most likely we will search for other hotels before staying at Kata palm if we are ever coming back to Phuket
