Nice location where to spend some days of full relax. This location is more adapted for a period of stay at least of one weeks due to its facilities.
Kata Gardens Apartments is located on a hill, so walks to the beach or nearby stores definitely includes climbing uphill. KGA is a short walk to the stores nearby (grocery, massage, bike rental, restaurants, cafes) and the night market too so accessibility was good. Kata Noi beach is wonderful, so is Mom's Tri Kitchen (restaurant) just 15 steps across the street. Price to pay for its ambience though. The penthouse's rooftop pool was clean, view was superb but the area was kinda open so privacy was limited with balconies and pool next door pretty near. The technicians opened our gate to access the rooftop pretty often as well (probably to fix cable/ clean), would've appreciated if they rang the doorbell to notify instead of opening our gate on their own to access the roof. There were definitely times during their access that we were in the apartment inappropriately dressed. Other than this, the apartment was wonderful. Kitchen was superbly equipped, even with baking tools. Balcony was huge & spacious. Rooms were awesome. Bathroom was heaven. What would've made it better .. probably a ipod base ;)
place is damn neat with best of the facilities available. Also, its great for people who want 5 star luxury in a secluded quiet place.
