The hotel is a little shabby, there are a few friendly geckos in the rooms, and the beds are hard... but all is acceptable with the views you get from your room, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean & kata beach, and the short walk to the beach. We had a great stay!
This hotel would be fantastic if it had an overhaul. The location is one of the best we observed in all of Phuket. However, the beds were hard, rooms run down, and facilities were limited. We were not too sure why this fabulous location wasn't cared for more; even some cosmetic and relatively inexpensive renovations could make this ok place great. Having said that, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and arranged a car hire and taxis as needed.
Amazing view! This is a gem of a place. Sure, the hotel and rooms are old school... but super clean, friendly service, great pool and sensational views of Kata Beach and the sea (great for sunset). If you are picky and want modern style and convenience, this is not for you. If you are happy with clean, standard room and STUNNING views from every room... this is your place. 2 minute walk to Kata beach and all the restaurants, bars etc...
