The Old Phuket Karon Beach Resort is located in the central of tranquil Karon Beach., charming and beautiful with its spectacular view of swimming pool and hilly. Sitting in private Aroona Plaza, shopping & Restaurants, just a few meters from hotel accommodation, it is rarely a very short walking distance across the road to white sandy beach, and the crystal clear water of the Andaman Sea. The resort is surrounded by tropical lush landscape with a serene ans quiet environment. 10 minutes drives to Patong, 20 minutes drives to Phuket Town and 50 minutes from Phuket International Airport.

The Hotel is perfectly located near the beach,cafes and restaurants, but yet quiet enough to enjoy your own private time.The room that we booked was a Sino design and its space was just nice not mentioning the size of the bathroom and the out door shower was very impressive.
The hotel was lovely, it looked just as it did in the photos. The facilities and hotel were clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to other couples or families with slightly older children. It was a quiet hotel except for a party from the roof villa above the Serene rooms on the last night with a thumping bass coming through the ceilings.
The resort has a lot of Scandinavians and Russians so there is a wide range of international cuisine available. There is only one restaurant on site which is used for a buffet breakfast but the resort recommends 3 restaurants just outside the resort - Bai Teoy or The 3 Crowns is excellent restaurants for thai and swedish food respectively. Al Dente is the 3rd restaurant but we didn't try this. The beach is about 2 mins walk from the site. Very accessible and it is 100baht sunlounger for the day. The beach was clean and well maintained.

Very nice hotel and very convenient location. Wi-fi access not so great and quite pricey compared to other hotels. Breakfast very good and the hotel grounds are very beautiful.
