Secret Cliff Resort & Restaurant

fantastic staff, great location, and most of all, a beautifully laid out resort with a view of karon beach. If you'd like to escape from the noise of karon beach in the afternoon, and don't mind a 5 minute tuk-tuk trip back to the hotel, you'd love this place! Their shuttle operates daily anyway. Staff are absolutely wonderful, they provide a personal service with a smile at all times, there was nothing to complain. Small but beautifully maintained infinity pool. Plus, their signature cocktail 'coco island' is to die for! I stayed for four nights and moved to patong, but i wouldnt have minded staying there for the rest of my stay in phuket.

Secret cliff resort is a perfect place to stay because of its beautiful and secluded location. The hotel is safe and very clean. You have to rent a bike or car though to easily move around else Phuket Taxi service is a rip-off, charging 200 Bhat for 1 KM travel.

We noticed a crack on a mouth wash glass in the bathroom the following day once we unwrap the paper which was wrapping the glass. So we decided not to use it and leave it back on the tray. To our suprise, during the check out we were charge 100 baht for the broken glass which was already present during our arrival. When I was trying to explain to the staff, he simply was not able to understand my English.
Breakfast selection was almost the same throughout the 4 days stay. The staff was unattentive and did not approached us if we want coffee or tea. We have to get it for ourselves. Perhaps we are not Caucasians which was why they did not take a second look at us. A complete change of experience from the first time we stayed in this hotel. We will definitely not return again.
