Phuket Golden Sand Inn

The location was great. The rooms were fair. There was mold on the tiles in the bathroom and a dead roach stayed in the same place from when we arrived until we left. The staff was not very friendly. We ordered two deluxe rooms with double beds - we got two rooms with single beds pushed together. There was a height difference between the two beds.

Delux rooms are awful.it's like a standart room.we were disappointed to see delux room with balcony near the road.

We were accomodated in one of the resorts bungalows which are a little dated and in need of modernisation. However, as a place to rest your head after a day on the beach it was okay if you were prepared to accept insufficient storage space for a two week stay, a tempamental shower with variable water pressure and heating and a somewhat cramped room. The staff however were extremely helpful and obliging plus the breakfast was pretty comprehensive and plentyful. The pool was a reasonable size if you did not want to go to the beach although the poolside bar was not available. We would use the resort again but insist on accomodation in the resorts main building.
