Malai House is located in the center of Karon busiest area, consists of 55 well appointed rooms all equipped with shower and bathtub. The Malai House is only a few minutes walk to the beach. Excelent value for money, 1 minute walk from the bars but no noise at night and 2 minutes walk from the beach. Superior rooms compared to other hotels in same pricerange.
We got a free upgrade to poolside view at Sugar Palm Hotel which is adjacent to Malai House. Free Internet Service provided by the hotel which is a plus point. Location wise is very good for me which is very near to the beach and the town center.
The hotel pool was superb and one of the largest I have seen in Thailand. The hotel had free computers to use the internet and the rooms were comfortable. My only concern was that the reception staff were execptionally unfriendly.
