Rooms were large and clean, pool was good, the only drawback is the hotel location - away from the beach, and the tuktuk drivers did not like to go there as the hill is so steep.
very good place if you have a car and don't mind the slight remote location.
We stayed in a 1br superior room, it was spacious, clean and practical.The washing machine was an added bonus. The MAJOR drawback during our stay were the building works going on and the noise from 7.15am - 7.30pm was a constant annoyance, we would have like to have been informed about the noise before we arrived. As the trees residence is quite far from kamala beach it is recommended to hire a motorbike, but get one from the beach as they only charge 200thb per day compared to 350thb per day at the trees. Food at the cafe i must say was absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced, compliments to the chef, we never had a bad meal :) and the pool area was very relaxing.
