The Coolwater is a mountain side estate that overlooks the quiet and quaint Thai village of Kamala on Phuket west coast. The beach at Kamala is wide, gently sloping, and relatively peaceful year round, the water is clear and warm, and the surf is typically gentle its a perfect place for swimming and relaxing. In the green season some good surf can be found on the northern end where tourists and an ever growing contingent of locals enjoy the warm summer waves. A large number of banks, general stores, handicrafts, restaurants and bars can all be found in Kamala village as it has recently become a part of the island now inhabited by many western visitors and residents alike. Each of The Coolwater modern designed hilltop residences enjoys the privacy of its own infinity edged swimming pool.

About Kamala Beach:
If relaxation in a small seaside community is what you're after, you'll find Kamala a delight. Located on Phuket's west coast, just north of Patong, it's less hectic that its neighbour. Formerly a quiet, fishing village, Kamala is a beautiful spot in which to relax and enjoy the still peaceful village atmosphere of this scenic, unspoiled beach. The area behind the beach has developed over the last few years giving a greater choice of local places to eat and drink. More secluded resorts nestle higher up amongst the trees on the headland, capitalising on the wonderful sea and mountain views, and only a few minutes walk to a sandy white beach on the northern end.
