After Reading comments about this Hotel i wasn't sure in we like to stay here but because wie während a two bedroom Place we Decided to Book ist anyhow. Great surprise it is a Good Hotel, Nice Rooms, Good Service and 5 min Walk to the Lovely Beach. Great value for money!
Courtyard Marriott at Kamala Beach is perfect for familes, the staff are extremely generous and friendly, the facilities are brilliant and location is 2 minute walk to beach, which is far nicer than Patong Beach, but still has all the water sports.
Patong is only a 20minute Tuk Tuk ride.

The hotel obviously has a big problem with the sewage in building number 1. This causes a very bad smell in the rooms! :( We changed rooms, but this problem occurs in all the rooms in building starting with room numbers 1! At our first visit almost 10 years ago, the hotel was called Kamala Bay Garden, already the same issue. Marriott have done a massive multi million dollar investment in renovations but sadly enough they did not solve this.
Conclusion; Avoid building 1! Building number 2 is great!
