Situated on higher ground of beautiful Kamala beach, The Aquamarine is one of the resorts which was not affected by Tsunami. All 186 luxury Thai Style Deluxe rooms and 20 Ocean Thai Villas offering uninterrupted panoramic views of Andaman Sea. The open plan lobby is Thai sala style, featuring a high ceiling, a booking area and gift shop. The lobby commands sweeping view of the ocean and our two adjacent swimming pools.

hotel needs serious maintenance (e.g. crappy bathroom) and staff seemed overchallenged (checkin took almost an hour). i was stupid enough to believe the managers comments/replys on tripadvisor, but in fact not too much has happened.
Exellent hostel, beautiful vue, really nice employees. Just 10min from patong beach and really calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed our holidays there just a great hostel with good value for money.
Hotel is ok. The food is good. The service is friendly but the staff really have no idea what they are doing and hope a big smile will be enought. Which works ok but at times you would like to just get what you are paying for.
