The Phuttachot Resort is a mini resort away from the main village guesthouses, set back from the busy village center. It has some mountain views of the verdant hills around the center of the Phi Phi Don. The Phuttachot Resort has a welcoming feel and service is friendly. This is a good base to have an active time on Phi Phi with out the beach front prices.

Pick up st ferry was nice. About 15 minute walk to ferry. Rooms were very dirty. Lots of spider webs and dust. Towels stank like sweaty socks. No safe in the room. Doors only had a simple lock. Way over priced. Got a much better hotel in Koh Lanta for only a few hundred baht more

The hotel looked fine in the pictures and although there were a few negative comments on the web site, I didn't think it would be that bad. I was wrong. I am not a fussy traveller and often stay in very simple accomodation but this was dreadful. There was nothing"resort" like about the place. There was a boxing ring set up on the front "lawn", which did not add a welcoming vibe to the place. The surrounds of the hotel was covered in rubbish. The room itself was clean but the doors were very flimsy and were not secure. The water pump was not working in the morning so we could not wash or shower. The location was not very good and although the 'hotel' a distance from the main area, I was kept awake by the music rom the night clubs. Overpriced and definitely not recommended.
