Palm Galleria Resort

The first night of arrival we wanted to have diner in the restaurant, only one table was occupied, after 15 minutes we had to attend the staff that we were sitting there. Nobody was alert. The whole restaurant was empty. Very poor spoken english. The wifi is NOT free, very expensive and bad connection. We travelled all thailand for a month now, all the places we hae been, all wifi was for free as in service. Also taxi/shuttle to nearest town was NOT free, shuttel was only one time a day to the beach, and one time to town. Swimmingpool is overloaded with deckchairs, very close to anotherperson. Plastic sunchairs, very poor. The staff was very friendly, but the management could use some training, in order to train the staff properly.

NIce place. No complaints. Good value for money.

WARNING: no beach hotel as described, photos are far from being descriptive, far from civilization, need for transportation, but shuttle bus to beach 4 times a day, expensive internet, expensive restaurant prices, poor standard - only 3 stars! Absolute only recommendable as overnight hotel. We chose the restaurant on the opposite side of the road, and rented a scooter so we could get around. We will not visit the hotel again.
