Eurasia Serviced Residence

I SATAYED AT EURASIA HOTEL FOR 10 DAYS. WHEN I GOT THERE THE ROOMS AC WOULD NOT WORL AND HAD TO CALL MATANIENCE TO COME LOOK AT IT. THEN IN THE DESCRIPTION THEY SAY THEY ARE 5-10 MIN FROM WALKING STREET....NOT TRUE. YOU ARE LIKE A 30 MIN WALK TO WALKING STREET. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A HOTEL OUT OF THE LIME LIGHT AND QUIET, GO FOR IT. BUT IF YOU LOOKING FOR A NICE HOTEL THAT IS ATLEAST WALKING DISTANCE TO WALKING STREET THIS IS NOT THE ONE. THERE BREAKFAST WAS A VERY BAD AND ROOM SERVICE WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE AFTERNOON, THEY TOLD ME THE RESTURANT CLOSED FOR THE AFTERNOON. ALSO I HAD HARD TIME GETTING HOME, A LOT OF CABS DONT KNOW HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL, SO YOU HAVE TO CARRY A CARD FROM THE HOTEL AND THAT MAY HELP A BIT. I WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.

Excellent hotel all in all all but with one small niggle. Wi-fi is not really available in any meaningful sense since there there is no signal in the guest rooms (only in the lobby) and a direct internet connection in the room (via cable) is a fairly steep additional THB400 per day which was not made explicit on the website. Although a really nice hotel overall I think they should be more honest/professional about the state of their internet availability because I needed Wi-Fi to work and ended up having to go to an outside internet cafe.
