It seemed they had a full house on this weekend and as such it seemed they had never had a full house before. They were unorganized and unprepared. My wife and I only got one room key between the two of us making coming and going at different times a bit of hassle. The room was great but small details plagued us - the desk had no chair, the chair they brought didn't fit in the desk, they had toilet paper but only a bit of it. The big picture was great but when you travel as much as I do the services and small details are what set places apart. I would give them another chance but I think they have a long way to go to improve on efficiency and processes internally.
Very disappointed. I expected a boutique hotel but Idyll is nothing more than a tarted up wing of Sunbeam hotel. It is not a complete hotel in its own right. Room had only a tiny window with no view. Very dark. I also did not like the wall painting and writing. Whole concept just does not work. Sorry.....will not stay there again, a B3000 hotel room must have a window and natural light.
Contrary to the 4 star rating they have, this hotel looks like a 2 star. They ae adjoining to another hotel and breakfast etc is served in the other hotel. STaff does not understand english at all. One of the shampoo botels broke in our room and they charged 500 baht for it.
