comfortable hotel with average size rooms for price; clean and comfortable AC was a little noisy; fitness room was poorly equipped and not maintained
Hotel location is great, about 5 mins walk to the beach and near a few bars, Alcazar and the Big C mall. A 15 minute drive to Walking St (10baht in the songthaew). Rooms were clean but average. Breakfast spread was below average and slow to be replenished. Staff friendly but not very informative or helpful and made mistakes with our booking/payment. Small but nice pool.
The smell in the room was nasty. Probably this non-smoking room had used to be a smokers room before, and the air conditioning unit had not been cleaned since that time. I succeeded to change rooms once to a same kind of room but the improvement was minimal.The second change was not given even though promised. After two nights I finally cancelled the stay but had to pay for one more night.
