We are not happy because many staff left during our stay due to the extreme low pay given to them. There was only one cleaning maid to clean many rooms. The manager is incompetent.

This hotel is on the fast-track to becoming a nasty, seedy, dump. The front desk workers are surly, and the room is dirty. The grout in the shower and the shower curtain itself were growing black mold. The room smelled musty. The bedside lamp did not work, and had been "repaired" with black electric tape. The pool was closed. The carpets in the hallway were so filthy you could't see the carpet for the numerous stains. Internet costs an additional 150 baht per day. The "ocean view" on the balcony gives you a sliver of ocean, a balcony that has no chair and no table.

On the plus side, the sheets and towels were clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, although greasy by Thai standards. The overworked servers here were the only ones I ever saw smile.

You'll be surrounded by Russians arriving in a parade of tour buses, who seem to make up at least 90% of the hotel's clients. Pray you don't get drinken ones next door to you like I did, screaming and fighting most of the night.

There's a reason this was one of the only hotels left in Pattaya on LateStays in the days before New Years--because its nasty and wildly, horribly overpriced. A similar room in Pattaya should cost you about 1000 baht. You'l find better accommodations almost anywhere in Pattaya for no more than 1/2 the price. I can not think of a single reason to recommend this hotel, unless you're absolutely desperate.

Tip: Don't be fooled by the grand lobby, which promises a room and an experience light years ahead of the one you will actually receive.
