Andamanee is a playful word combination of Andaman-sea and Manee-jewel. The new 50 rooms is set to open in December 2006 and it is located about 600 meters from Nopparatthara Beach. The Andamanee is a younger sister of the highly successful Theparat Lodge in Krabi town. The Andamanee is off the beach, setting will appeal to those seeking a quiet non - touristic environment . A resort is cozy, spacious and well designed with spacious and comfortable room. The resort has open air restaurant with overlooking swimming pool as well as the lobby bar, a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi as well as a pool bar, a library, Internet area and a small meeting room. Every room is decorated to reflect the local life ie. Fishing trap, a paddle, Head boards show the out line of a long tail boat etc, air conditioned and other facilities.

This was a beautiful hotel only about 1km from the beach. The location helps keeps the cost down I believe. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, while still giving you space. An excellent way to end a trip to Thailand, very happy!
Beautiful, big comfortable rooms, a bit of a walk or ride from the main city but the location is nice and quiet. Great staff as well!
There are some "rules" that seem unnecessary. Breakfast is the same every day and became monotonous. It is a bit difficult to easily get to the beach when you want to without renting a bicycle or motorbike. The hotel provides two free trips to town daily at specific times only.
