The pictures used on the website are misleading. They make Mountainview Resort out to look like a quaint rustic chalet type experience when in fact compared to the rest of the accommodation we had in Thailand it is more on the level of a backpackers lodge. It is also quite far from the beach and a long walk on a dirt road - fine if you have a backpack, not great if you have suitcases on wheels. We checked out immediately.
